Call For A Coal Miner

I think this is my favorite design I have come up with! A WV coal miner reached out to me with some basic elements he wanted in a turkey call. I ran with it and came up with this design for a glass call. It will be double sided with slate on the bottom (as a nod to coal mining) and set in wormy chestnut. Two hours designing and I absolutely love the final product. Maybe I'm biased coming from a long coal mining heritage, but this is awesome! I can't wait to see it in a wormy chestnut pot. The actual image is brighter and clearer, it comes out "dulled" here.

It’s quite addicting! Probably my favorite hunting is spring gobbler.

I love spring turkey hunting. My favorite method is "Run and Gun". It's similar to archery elk hunting, locating a bugle and moving into position for a shot. It's very rewarding when a plan comes together.
