BIG kitty. Once one of these walked through my old neighborhood, which was an odd sight there, and I still remember my mom's reaction to spotting it walking across the sidewalk out our back window. She kept repeating, "That is not a dog! That is not a dog!" I barely caught sight of it as it walked off. Incredible animals, as well as intimidating.

All jokes aside that's a big kitty.
Back in the 60's before the area I grew up in was developed we had some large Bob cats, I had been fishing for small mouth Bass on a small creek back in the hills, I was stalked by a pair of bob cats wanting the stringer of Bass I had hooked to my belt, the creek was wide and the current was very fast, the cats came charging off the hill behind me, with no place to go and no gun I crossed the creek which was chest deep the cats followed me into the water but the current swept them away downstream, I watched them from the opposite bank. I was 12yrs old and didn't know how to swim but I made it and didn't lose my fish or my rod. After that I never left home without my Ruger 10-22 rifle.
