Looking forward to your report.

Looking at your molds and bullets makes me want to do that with my 45-90, but I am afraid it would be an obsession, and I don't need another one. I am also working on the purchase of a guide gun, here in the very near future and with the two of them I am sure that I could really get into the bullet casting "mold" (pun intended). My smith has the guide gun and I have to get the cash out of my budget (unseen by you know who) and the rifle into my safe again (unseen by you know who), once its there I am safe. "Literally" Got to squeeze the dollars out. My Cabeals card has way, way to much stuff on it. !!!!!!!Those bullets you make are truly beauties. I could buy all sorts of "new" stuff.

Thanks JD and Elkman!

It is addicting Elkman, as now I have 3 molds for the 45-70, which is way beyond my norm of having most everything else set up for one bullet and load. The 3rd mold I'm not sure I posted here,,it is more or less a back up to the other two.
This one is a BRP aluminum mold throwing 350, 420, and 465 gr. weights
(lighting causing a funky color_

That is awesome! I have to get started casting this Winter! I know my 45-70 would thank me for it.

Bill, I hope you get your Guide Gun! I think you are going to get hooked on that beast! Scotty

elkman,

You are going to love the 1895 Guide gun. It just begs to be loaded with hard cast bullets!

Just tell "You know who" that guns are like golf, you can't play the game with one club.
