I have personally found that in this day and age, real connection comes from being disconnected. Our lives have become so entangled in the web of constant headlines, media, music, internet, shopping, and other stimulating things that we many times forget to focus on the things that matter truly but we are instead emotionally invested in personalities, politicians, and influencers often times leading us to develop hatred for our fellow mankind. That is why I personally am out in the field almost every day of the week because it allows one to connect with what truly matters and what is in their immediate presence.

He was refreshing intelligent even though I may not have agreed with all his positions. I agree with Fotis a poor bastard incapable of winning an argument takes the cowards way out. I find it very disturbing that folks can’t have divergent views and have an intelligent conversation.
I particularly enjoyed how Charlie could talk to someone on campus who would be screaming at him and ultimately they would just admit they were stupid.

I find it very disturbing that folks can’t have divergent views and have an intelligent conversation.

I have said a lot that one of the biggest problems I see with people lately is that they are incapable of just disagreeing. Everything is a "cause" and many can't seem to accept that people are always going to differ from themselves. A lot of people just need to calm down and live their own life more.

This has been a really rough week. We got the videos of young Iryna Zarutska getting brutally murdered. Then Charlie Kirk is assassinated. Now it's 9/11.

Probably time for some buddy checks - make sure folks are doing okay. Perhaps spend some extra time in prayer and immersed in God's word.

I too feel as though I’ve lost a family member. I slept very restless last night and every time I woke up i immediately thought of Charlie Kirk.
So many thoughts going through my mind, and it is very difficult to get an understanding of it.
So many things have happened since, that I struggle to understand how has it come to this.
We need to get back to God, and away from “connection”.
I need to get into the woods to quiet my mind.
Hunting season can’t get here soon enough!

Our family is devastated. There’s simply no other way to put it. We started our mornings with him while driving our kids to school. He helped teach us how to defend our faith, our patriotism and our values. He was one of a kind and will be missed, but his legacy will live on.

Suspect taken into custody last night. Someone close to him turned him in. I was disappointed that trump made the announcement-should have been the people that actually did the legwork.
