Chukar hunting/ EMERGENCY ROOM

Don, slow and easy is the way to go after a major fall like you had. I am sure you will get back to where you were before the accident.
Keep going at er little harder every day (y).

Blessings,
Dan

That's the plan, slow and steady. Still have trouble when I get into a deep squat. Physical therapist has me doing some stretches that hurt like hell.

Deep squat :?: what's that :?: I haven't been able to hunker down on my haunches since I was a teenager and would probably fall back wards if I tried to day. 911 911

Yeah, but shooting that bird there can sure cost you a chunk of change!

Beautiful birds, aren't they. Aggravating, though.

Thanks guys... I've only ever hunted chukars a couple of times like salmonchaser did. It's a young man's sport. The chukar photo was taken through our kitchen window.... Who'd a guessed? He hung around our wild bird feeder for a few days then disappeared. I hear chukar kabobs w/chipotle barbeque sauce are good... Jus kidding...

They are fine eating, enjoyed that photo as it is such a classic representation of chukar hunting. You climb all day, legs and lungs on fire, ground so steep and rough you sweat going down hill. The risk of injury is real, then you find them hiding under the truck.
Damn birds, I'm sure I'll venture into Hells Canyon again next December, but I don't know why....
