Very Nice! Congratulations. 8)
Let us know what you decide on for glass and how she shoots.

BTW, nice to see deck wood. Mine is still covered with 2 feet of snow.

I have an older Bausch and Lomb Elite 4000 4.5X14X50 or a Leupold LPS 2.5X10X45 to choose from but, I probably gonna replace it later with either a Silver Zeiss Conquest or a Swarovski PH. I hope my 223 Kimber Model 84 won't feel leftout.

Finally got to shoot the Coop... just fireforming the brass using the 50 grain Blitz and 26 grain of BLC-2.

Here's the 5 shot group @ 100 yards. Nothing spectacular but has potential.

Well, the rifle shoot. Here's three different groups with two different bullet and three different powder load, all quarter incher @ 100 yards. The top were two sets of 3 shot group, 50 grain V-Max and 50 grain Sierra Varminter. The bottom left, were 5 shot group with 27.5 grain of BLC-2 and 50 grain V-Max. The bottom right 5 shot group were 28 grain of BLC-2 and 50 grain V-Max. I'm still on the load developement stage.

I shot 50grainers for years out of my 22-250... my hunting buddy has a .222 Mag that he's always shot 55 grainers out of.... We're both shooting those now and his .222mag loves them.......
short of getting stoned for saying this, they are the green tipped ones....

I have a 40X-222 Remington Mag that loves both the 40, and the 50 grainers. With the barrel being 14 twist, it shoots the 40 more accurately. The bullet has the red tip and not the orange either.
