Would someone explain how the CT Ballistic Silvertip 168gn 308 fits between the new 168 BT and the old 165BT? Its my understanding that it is little more than a lubaloy coated 165BT. Am I correct? capt david
All I can tell you is use the 165/168 load data to start. Now, the big thing is, do not load a non-coated bullet to the same as your CT-BT. You need to start over as the Win coating may reduce the pressure, where a normal bullet may be over pressure with the same load. Other than the coating Winchester puts on the CT stuff and a different color tip Nosler puts on them to distinguish the apart, the bullets are identical.
