Custom built 28 nosler

My dad just received his first custom rifle. He didn't spare any expenses and in my opinion it turned out awesome!

Can't wait to get out and help him with load testing!

Specs are:
-Defiance Deviant Hunter action
-Bartlein rem varmint barrel 1:8 twist with 6 flutes finished at 26", threaded
-one of Nathan's 4 port beast brakes
-McMillan game scout stock
-Jewel trigger
-cerakote in magpul flat dark earth
-throated for 180-195gr Berger's

Those Nosler designed cartridges are pretty sweet. Lots of velocity for the recoil.

I built my buddy a very similar rifle in 300wm last year. It was a Remington action instead of a Defiance and his barreled action was coyote tan instead of FDE but he used the same stock and color. It should be a sweet rifle.

Leupold 6.5-20 mark 4 with TMR reticle first focal plane, M5 knobs in vortex precision matched rings.

I like it in front personally. Can still see it from shooting position and it doesn't block the markings on the parallax knob.

Ya it sticks out to the left or right depending on which way you put it on. It's the vortex one.

Seriously, that's a pretty doggone cool long-range critter-getter. I like it.

Just my luck, I carry something like that, and end up taking a snap shot on game at 25 yards.
