CZ action

I recently purchased a CZ 550 American Safari in 375 H&H Magnum. This thing shoots like a dream. The trigger has me spoiled. My only complaint is that the action is a little rough (well actually its a LOT rough). I have herd that these actions can be smoothed up or polished. My question is, exactly how do I go about this? Is there a special compound to use? How do you get inside the bolt rails? Thanks for your help. I don't want to mess up my new "friend".

The best way is to set down in front of the TV and work the bolt for an evening or two. There is nothing like "wearing" in the bolt if possible.

That's what I had to do with my CZ model 3. The action felt okay but I thought it could be better. Worked the action any time I sat down in front of the tube.
