I finally got everything moved into my new house and just brought most of my elk and deer racks, sheds, and mounts over. So I figured I would lay them all out on the floor and took a few pics of them. I figured ya'll might want to see them. So here they are!

There are some fine racks there. Good that you are in your new house. It takes time, but it is surely satisfying when it all takes shape.

Thanks! I got it all in here, now I just have to figure out where all my junk is going to go. I hate moving but hopefully Ill be in this place for a while.

Three moves equals being burned out once. Moving is very hard on what we own; and, as I grow older, I note that moving is very hard on me.

Luckily this is the first move the mounts have made and it was just across town from where they were hanging at my parents, to my new place. Being a broke college kid, almost all of my stuff is second hand junk so im not out a whole lot of something gets scratched or broken! My grandparents and I were talking about moving the other day and they counted how many times they have moved. I couldn't believe it when they said they have moved 18 times!

Yeah, by the time we get to be grandparents, we likely will have moved quite a bit. Your grandparents have me beat; I've only moved seventeen times (I believe).

Moving is hard on my stuff. I know the Marine Corps has been rough on my families stuff moving from Ca, NC and now Va.

Your antler collection looks really good DT. Scotty

I have been allocated one wall of the living room for some of my heads (whitetail and Pronghorn). One of my other heads is on my SIL's fireplace (a muledeer). The other stuff is in boxes or in the garage.

That is certainly different. That ol' boy had some trouble carrying that around, I'd say.

The size of his neck must of been awesome, after packing that weight, from September (Rut) till March, when they drop.

Those look really good hanging there. Those are great spots for a couple of fine mounts.

Mark,

That's quite a crop of mulies. How many years of hunting do those racks represent?

Mike -

A few of the larger ones my Dad took when I was probably knee-high. The others combined between myself and mother. Probably a 10-12yr span in there taking out the couple of early ones.
