Deer Loads for the 30-06 165 gr BT

Guess it was all said, just not by everybody ;-)
I used the 4350 with accubonds, too, back when I could use lead.
They did as expected.
Once killed two small boar with one shot at 170y - did not see the second one in the back.
Complete pass through on both, through the spine of the second.
I would not worry at all with that combo...

That's a good bullet. Soft enough to do the job on whitetails. The 165 BTSP is another one that is soft enough to do the job well a ways out there.

It's hard to get a do all bullet. No fault of the manufacture's. The bullet that performs admirably and doesn't come apart on an elk shoulder, wont be the best choice for whitetails. The speer Bt's, not the hot cor's, seem to be soft across the board by all accounts, regardless of caliber or bullet weight.
