Did Nosler kill the 100gr Ballistic Tip in .257?

I decided to work up some varmint loads for the 25-06 now that I have the hunting load figured out. I had a few boxes of the 100gr B-Tips sitting on the shelf and went into Nosler to check on the tested powders and saw a listing of bullets on the right side. Under Ballistic Tip Hunting, it listed 90gr and 115gr. Went to the bullet page and saw this soup sandwich:

So does anyone know if they canceled production of the 100gr, or is this a typo in two locations?

I can get them in Walmart on Del Range Ave and in Sportsman's Warehouse here in Cheyenne.

Where in Wy do you reside?

Good ol Cheyenne as well. I have about 130 left.

Walmart on dell range... I see you like to live dangerously! :)

There were 2 boxes in Wally world and 3 in Sportsman's 2 days ago.

Should be a mistake BC and SD is for the 100 gr.

Want me to you up some. I am on my way there in a bit (wal-mart)

Thanks for the offer, it will take me a while to burn through the couple boxes I have. Ill need to get more 110gr & 160gr .284 accubonds before the B-tips. Patiently waiting for SW to get them in stock.

I have used the 110 AB from my 257 Bee. 3530 fps and went completely through both shoulders of a muley at 30 yards!

That's doggone sweet! (y)

Almost 200 fps faster than I pushed 100's from my .25-06, before I bumped up to 115's...

Wow! And stout too, taking both shoulders at that velocity!

Guy

Yup. 69 RL22 110 AB 0.55" at 100 yards. 3530 fps MKV Fibermark 257 Bee.

What shooting rest is that in the pic above?
I'm looking for something when I'm working on my rifles and the cheap plastic ones just don't do anything for me.

Sorry to go off topic guys

Awesome load Fotis! Have you ever used the 100gr Btips? My QL gave me a smokin 3500 fps using 7828, but if I really need to stay below the listed max of 3200 fps on the box, I'll drop it down and use some IMR 4831.

Velvetant, not sure if this will work for you, but I too couldn't stand the plastic style bench rests either so I mounted a small vise (40 or 20 pound I think) on my bench. I cut some blocks and glued some extra thick tool tray liners to the wood to protect the stocks on my bolt actions. I also have some magnetic bessey vice jaw covers that give enough clamping pressure for me to be able to work on AR platforms without mucking my gear up. My dad uses a 100-pound vice with carpet glued over the jaws in his set up. In the garage, where I clean the guns, I use two atv mounts, mounted into a piece of plywood that folds down when not in use. For $30, it beats messing with the plastic tray types.

I pushed them fast and performance was lousy on pronghorn. I suggest you do not. Get a PAR if you want to push them fast.
