I just spoke to Nosler about groove on new E-Tips. The groove is to lower pressure, kind of figured that.

Makes sense.

The old Partitions had a large groove for the same purpose, and then Barnes has been using grooves in their copper bullets for some time.

So I wonder if load data will change?

Their online data still has highlighted section stating E-Tips should be started at lowest charge weight.

I am just getting into trying these for 308 & 7mm mag.

I bought some Nosler Etip Blems from shooters pro shop last summer and they had a single groove on the bullet shank.
