Yep..... that’s about right.

It’ll look like a Sombrero on slim Señorita..... and I’d suspect it’ll cause some significant POI change (due to the forend hanger design).... but it’ll be interesting to see the results.

hmmm, pondering. Notion struck me in elk camp last weekend. Suppressed is the way and the light, once you start it's a rabbit hole, but it is a number one. Earlier this summer I cut and threaded the barrel on my uncle's old remington 722 300 savage to 20", converted to 700 bottom metal and bedded it into a 700 mountain rifle stock I'd had in the garage for years. Turns out 300 savage is awesome suppressed, breathed new life into a neglected rig.

Done might say a suppressor isn’t classic or traditional enough for a classy rifle like a ruger #1. Just remember even teddy roosevelt used a supressor back in the day. On both a lever action 30/30 and Winchester semi auto.

I say if it’s good enough for teddy it’s good enough for me!
