I've been to South Africa before and shot a Kudu, Gemsbok, Impala, Blesbok, and Warthog.

Two thoughts came to mind. 1. is how fortunate Dr Mike, Gil, Gerry, Hodgeman, Brooke, Bear78, Cheyenne are, as those animals are in their back yards or at the very least not far from it. 2. Wouldn't it be nice if Hodgeman organized a brown bear and moose hunt for all eight of those members who want to hunt them, so they could hunt together during the day and have a glass of scotch together each evening. Just a thought hodgeman (-;
bmgillum and lefty315----Cheyenne and Brooke are huge canoe advocates. I think Dr Mike and Guy were invited to go with them down the Yukon just this last summer. You might pm them, again just a thought (-:
salmon chaser ----I hope you reach your goal, as you know my husband chased sheep and goats for thirty years and was able to down quite a large variety of both species, but, we wanted to hunt the Marco Polo so bad, but it never happen.
1100remingtonman.-- one of my all time favorite calibers. I have no idea why more people dont use this classic old caliber, it is a good one. I like it, like the majority of the members on this forum like the 35 Whelen
Dr Mike---I hate you, love you, am envious of you, and most important wish I had know you---waaaay back then (-: ( in reference to your car post )

If you get to Argentine, try to set aside enough time to go dove hunting and in New Zealand, the fishing is also great. A spiral horn slam. you dont hear that often, but it would certainly be something to accomplish. Best of luck.
If you fellows could hunt just one of the dangerous seven ( elephant, cape buffalo, croc, hippo, rhino, leopard or lion), which would you choose ?
