For you 270win, 270Bee and 27Nosler lovers

Cool looking bullet. It says in the info that a 1 in 8.3 is necessary, I have a 1 in 9 so it may work. Probably will stick with more normal bullets myself but am pleased that there is another good bullet out there for those who shoot at longer ranges. A .703 b.c is huge.......

Should be good in my 1-8 270 build

Yep, you going to give it a go? Should probably be able to get 2750-2800 fps with it or better even in the good old 270 Win.

Interesting looking bullet. It was only a matter of time until such a bullet became available.

Sorry guys but Never liked any Berger bullets. Tried them and they killed antelope just fine but they were very difficult to find a good load for.

Now they have totally screwed them selves with the different names. No one knows what they are selling

VLD VLD Hunting VLD elite hunter VLD Match Hybrid and the rest of their stuff........

I've never had a problem getting Berger bullets to shoot accurately... Even VLD's...

I'm just not a fragmenting bullet kinda shooter....I want a bullet that will plow its way from bow to stern if need be.... And keep on going.

I like bonded bullets... With sectional densities up near .3

While I'm not a Berger guy, I do like 270's a whole lot and it's great to see bullet manufacturers giving some options.

If/when I rebarrel my 270WSM, it'll get a 1-8 or 8.5 likely. Just to make sure I can shoot and stabilize any Bullet I want. The extra RPMs don't hurt either.

Interesting bullet but I am with Fotis and the others that I want a bullet to expand, smash bone and penetrate deep, not travel a few inches and fragment.
Guess its safe to say I'm a Partition kind of guy.

Interesting bullet. I've had good luck with 150gr ABLR in my 270. I used Berger twist calculator for my 270Wby with 1/10 twist barrel @ 6800',G1 .703,maybe 2800fps, SG be 1.39 and they rec 1/9.5 barrel twist,G1 would be .680.

I may try them

I'd be keen if I had a better twist than 1-10 for my 270 Win.

While I don't have fixed views about the types of bullets to shoot, I quite like soft-ish bullets, but heavy in weight and shot at moderate speeds in the 2600-2900fps range.

This one would fill that bill it seems.

I'll definitely be going 1-8 when my 270 Win needs rebarreling. (It might even be reincarnated as a 270 Wby :) )
