Functional Magazine Length REM700 SA

What is the longest OCL that you have found that will function flawlessly through a REM700 short action magazine (700SA Classic).

Issue is if a 200AB could be use for a 358win chambered in 700SA Classic.

In factory form....

2.82"

The rounds fit in the mag fine, with a little room to spare....feeding was hit or miss though.

The rifles were all chambered in 308... Several of them.

Does Nosler list the OCL for their 200gr AB load in the 358win? My manuals are at Cabin soon to be home.

I made a dummy round with the 200 gr AB and the 358 Win and can post a picture in a couple of days. Going to be really busy but will do it asap.

I would really recommend the Wyatt magazine linked above. I love mine, and it allows a COAL at almost 3".
