Well it has been months but I am going to climb the snow banks and go shooting. The goal after all the scope swaps is to get the .338, 30-06, 25-06 and 6.5 Grendel on paper. 24 degrees tomorrow and 12 with the wind. I hope to get them close so I can really focus on load development.

I need to be shooting--we are having beautiful weather (it got up to 4 degrees today). However, I am swamped with other responsibilities.

It went well. I took 4 rilfes and had them with in one inch of the bull in 17 shots. The 6.5 Grendel was the biggest pain. I was way low then way high. I had to move it to 25 yards to get the last 4 shots in the bull. The rest of the shots were at 100 yards. The .338 took 4 shots, and the 25-06 and 30-06 took 3 each. It was cold and windy. I was the first person to shoot all winter and had to break the trail on foot.

It was good to shoot.

Glad you had fun with the rifles. It does feel good to get out and do some shooting!

WT, it would be great to just get out and do a little shooting. Our weather up here is not real nice hope that it starts to break soon.
I would like to start shooting the 35 Whelen again with those 200gr ABs.

Blessings,
Dan

Fotis....

"I envy you! I forgot what it feels like!"..

Bring your shovel and we'll go out to the range near here.

I'm on the BOD of the club that oversees our range and the weather hasn't slowed anyone down. Up until the last two years we might have replaced the backer boards twice a year. Now we do it every 10-14 days.
