Going to need some some good glass

Good to go. Minox or Zeiss and when I am ready a custom turret to match my load from Kenton sounds like a win to me

You won't go wrong with either of those scopes.

Never tried Minox nor Zeiss, so I can not speak to those. I have however used many Leupold series from Vari x 1 to the VX3L, Redfield, Nikon, and Trijicon.

Hands down, the next scope I purchase for extended range shooting will be a Trijicon. I am a big fan of side focus and dope charts, not a dial turret to get me on tango. Guess its old training.

I will admit, that I like the system that Leupold uses for Tactile Power Indicator with Range Estimation on some of their scopes.

In low light, of the series of scopes I have used, again the Trijicon wins hands down. I hear great things about the VX6, but I think I will stick with a 30mm tube Trijicon next time.
