For $199 I bought another one for a 6.5 Grendel AR-15 that needs a scope upgrade.

I have two and worked with another, and while they are easy to turn, they are tactile with positive clicks. I don't find them spongy. But typically I'm a "set and forget" type hunter. I don't really do any dialing.
