Got Me A Short Tumper

I always used the 215M in the 350 RM.

POP, I am hopping that the 250 CCI is close enough to give the results you got with the 215M. I will see either Friday morning or next week about Monday or Tuesday. Waiting for some more brass and bullets from Midway to arive today. Want to use unfired brass. I will resize them and get my case length like I want it and shoot these because when I hunt I always load in new brass for my hunting loads.

If I can find some I will, they are hard to come by around here and I don't like to order them they want to much counting shipping.

bullet,

Too bad you are not closer, I have a couple of bricks.

When I had my 280AI built, I was using the GM210M primers.
My smith told me to switch to the GM215M and my groups went to bug holes.

It is worth a try! Just remember to drop down and work up.

It won't be. You need the 215m or at least I did.....

When Big Squeeze ask me to measure my eye relief, I got to wondering what the eye relief on my Weaver V 1-3x20mm really was in real practical terms when I threw up my rifle in a standing position to take a shot. So I ask Nancy to take a ruler and stand by my side and measure from the end of my eye ball to the edge of the scope. We did this once on 1x and then on 3x power. It measured 4" on 1x and 31/2" on 3x. I thought I had plenty of room and even though this little rifle kicks pretty good at the bench it was not getting to close to my forehead.

That will work.
You just gota love the lower power scopes on the hard kickers.
And the reason I have a VXIII 2.5x8 on my 338 RUM.

Man a 338 Rum is one bad, hot, big cartridge that can do a lot of damage up close or far off in a hurry. That thing must kick.

bullet,

The 338 RUM recoil isn't as bad as some will say. I added a Pachmyer Decelerator recoil pad and it made a huge difference.
I even shoot it prone.

I spent a whole day 2 years ago shooting and working up loads in a remmy BDL 375 rum. Never had a problem with recoil.
