2008 Airstream; 2006 Dodge hit 85k on this trip. We've put 25 k on it in the last three years.

Not a lot of miles on the Dodge. It should serve you well for a long time to come.

We've driven from our home near LaGrande, Or through Mcdermitt several times. I like the Great Basin more. Generally when we head south we've picked a weather window, don't like pulling 6 to 7000 foot passes with snow on the road. We had road side snow all the way to Elly but the roads were dry. The parks/refuges are very cool.

The Ruby mountains were spectacular yesterday, fresh snow all the way to the valley floor, shrouded in fog. Probably take a real photographer four days to make the trip from Vegas to the Idaho border.

We made Caldwell last night about 1930 hours. Only 2.5 hours from our home in Oregon but I was toast. The Airstream dealer there has a small but well appointed over night RVpark. Pulled in hooked up, made dinner.
Just served the princess her coffee. Don't think we hit the road until 8 or nine
