Great Range trip today with 300 RUM 200 AB

Thanks you guys, Load development sure takes a while, but the rewards are so worth it. Next range trip will be to sight it in then go out to 300 yards using the bi-pod and bags. I'm anxious to give that a try.

300 yards is just warming up for that big RUM! I imagine it will be alot of fun getting it dialed in Don. Just shooting them big guns at distance is a ton of fun. Looking forward to hearing how it does off the bipod for you. What an elk skinner that rifle is! What scope do you have on that rifle?

Don,

Glad you got the 200 AB working in the 300 RUM. I got lucky when I found my load so quick with the 200 AB. Now I get to start over when my Montana 300 RUM gets here.

Sounds like Don's load is a good place to start too!

WC,
Let me know if you need the recipe and seat depth, I'd be willing to pass it on.

I will give it a try if Retumbo doesn't work with the 200s. Thinking about going with 180s and 7828ssc or RL-22.

FWIW,
I tried 180 AB with 7828 SSC could not get very good velocity. Maybe just my particular gun too.
