Hi Guy,
I just watched your video and since I only have a 30-06 and a 6,5 Creedmoor currently, I was very interested.
What you came up with is basically what I decided for myself. With our distances shorter than yours, I am quite sure the 6,5 does the job.
Still I use the 30-06 for driven hunts, because I like that extra bit of power if the shot is a bit off.

I use lead free for both, but similar construction, just like in the video.

I think highly of both cartridges. They're quite different, and the 6.5 will spoil a shooter with such light recoil.

BTW, I've got lead-free bullets from Nosler, Hornady and Barnes just sitting here in my "gun room" waiting for something to do.

I think they're saying "Hunt with me!" but they speak softly in their boxes... Hard to tell...

Nice video again. I find it interesting when you where shooting the 30-06 at the bench how the barrel vibrated in the video.
