Not sure what the recipes are for it but Powder Valley has the Winchester Staball HD in 8lb bottles. Maybe it is close to the RE26

You know it just might at that. Staball HD is a little slower than RL26, but you may be onto something. I have 5lbs of Staball HD and 11lbs of Staball 6.5. The 6.5 actually gives the velocity that RL26 does in my 270 Win. I just haven’t spent the time working with SB 6.5 like I have RL26. I have a solid supply of RL23, RL25, and IMR 4831 as well, so I think I’ll be ok when the RL26 runs out, but I still have enough 26 for 400 E-Tip hunting rounds. Too bad we can’t get Reload Swiss powders. Their RS76 is RL26 if I’m not mistaken.

Staball HD is real close to Retumbo. The max charge for a 6.5 prc is only a tenth of a grain difference between the 2.

everyone loading reduced recoil rounds uses H4895 also making it even more scarce
