Handgun Safety Course

Teamed up with the Sheriff to conduct a free handgun safety course this morning:

Good people. Good training. This is the 6th class I've done at our gun club, with the Sheriff. It is so rewarding, introducing people to the handgun, properly. I'll pat myself on the back for the idea!

You should and good on the sheriff for supporting the effort. My former department wouldn't even consider a class for spouses. Amazing difference in attitude from western Washington to Eastern Washington. Well done.

That's our Sheriff in the dark uniform with all the service stripes. Old friend of mine and a good man. He also served in the Coast Guard for 26 years, mostly in the CG Reserves. Did duty in the Persian Gulf and also a LOT of maritime security stuff here on the west coast.

Huge supporter of the Second Amendment!
