Ok I got mama convinced to buy me a new stock for my birthday so I think I am gunna put one on my 300 RUM but I am torn between 2 the BC alaskan without the block or the bobby hart accublock classic.

I cant bring myself to do a thumbhole. and the Hart does come in a solid walnut it will be a little heavier but this is not my main rifle so I dont want to dump piles of cash into it.

I also considered a factory take off LSS laminate for 137

HELP

I would go with the Bobby Hart Accublock stock, Cobalt (Blue/Gray). Its a high luster but 0000 steel wool will bring it down to a satin finish.

I was at a outdoor show today Bobby Hart was there if your looking to make a long range rig they had a pretty cool stock on a couple of guns. I believe dont' quote me but i think it was called a Hinds bi-pod stock, the legs of the bi-pod recess into the stock for out of the way carry.

I just restocked my 700 with the BC Alaskian II. Seems pretty good. Its going to be a while till i get to shoot with all this snow here. I might try the Bobby Hart with one of my other rifles. They both look pretty good.

My favorites are the McMillian and the Brown. I have two of the Browns, one is hunted hard and after 23 years is still getting the job done. I like the McMillian because of the pillar bedding.

billbam that is a very nice looking outfit !!!!
