Found fresh bear sign this afternoon. Didn't have time to stick around and make the evening hunt. Same area I saw a bear before season, earlier this summer. A shooter bear.

Looks like I've got something to do tomorrow.

Looking at the evening hunt today, and likely the morning hunt tomorrow... We will see if I can find this guy again now that the season is open and temps are starting to cool down. Highs only in the 80's now instead of in the 100's...

Wasn't sure if he was big enough to shoot when I saw him a few weeks ago. Hope to get a better look.

Irritating... Life is getting in the way of my bear hunt. Not happening tonight. Perhaps in the morning...

Yes, the .375 Number One is on standby, with the ammo holder full of 260gr Accubonds. Why mess with a proven combo?

Knife is sharp. Pack is packed. All is well, but.... I can't leave the house. Dang!
