I know hodgdon just bought out imr. but what is the difference between h 4350 anf imr 4350. or h 4831 and imr 4831 or etc. does anybody know????

I know that both of the IMR powders have slightly faster burn rates than their Hodgdon counterparts. Therefore they are NOT interchangable. In my experience I have found the Hodgdon powders to leave considerably less residue in my barrel. As far as Hodgdon's temperature insensitivity claims are concerned, I don't know. If given the choice, I like Hodgdon. I hope that helps.
