Hornady 350 Lgnd recall

Hornady is recalling several lot numbers of their “Black” 350 legend 150 grain ammo. Replacing with your choice of 170 American whitetail or the 165 FTX. I had 2 boxes they answered the phone quick and emailed
A FedEx return label within a few minutes.

I didn’t have any issues with it in my rifle, brass looked great. And it was fast and very accurate, but I thought it best just to send why I had in…have you looked at the 154 grain Fury bullet for the 350? Guys are praising them. I worked up an accurate and pretty quick load with H110. Want to send one in a jug and see how it does.

Maybe. Mine is an AR…could be like the 6 ARC with 2 pressure standards for gas vs bolt. I’d assume retail ammo would use the lower pressure just to be safe. The problem I had was roll crimp or LFCD the inertia of chambering in the AR would cause bullet slip, too much crimp and it wouldn’t headspace right on the case mouth.

Went with Barnes as the owner(farmer) is a big fan of HP. Not a fan of ballistic tips… I didn’t find the 154 on fury’s web site, but could be just out of stock…

Sorry, 158 grain. It’s a drop down menu with their 180 and 158
