Hunting packs

I ended up with the Kuiu Ultra 6000 weighs 3 lbs 9 oz. I'll put a review up after a while but I know I can pack a kitchen sink. Very spacious light and seems to fit well, well thought out simple pack.
I think you will come to love Kuiu as I do. [emoji2] [emoji106] [emoji482]

The Kuiu's look like a lot of pack for their weight. Don't overlook Crooked Horn. Their biggest pack is "only" 4300 ci and I have not used it, but they are bound to be tough and waterproof from my experience with their day packs.

I use their Trailblazer II day pack now as I don't backpack hunt anymore. The Predator Pack I used for years was the predecessor to the Trailblazer II (still have it) and it has been beaten against AK and AZ and never let me down.

I use a Eberlestock J104 for a day pack. It will carry every thing I need plus a boned out antelope or deer. For heavy loads I use a Kifaru Timberline 1.

Check out the exo packs.
USA made, so far production run is sold out and you will have to order and wait. You pay when shipped.
Videos on you tub and their site.
One shows packing with 250 lbs.

Jake - I'll be interested in your review after you get some miles on it. Definitely a decent size ;)
I'll be taking my 3000 for the first trip this weekend. I didn't draw an archery tag this year, so the downsize will work fine this year. Photo of my wife & I last year on an intended 5day stint - came out and moved at 3.

All this pack talk, and not a single mention of Kifaru ?

I have a Badlands 2200 for day trips, but it's not as big as you are looking for.

I use an Arcteryx full up backpacking pack for long trips. I like it as much as you can like anything that weighs 45 to 55 lbs on your back!
