I am still on a number of forums.
There is one forum I am on which is notorious for "Flaming Others", and I am not talking about The Hide either.
I typically only interact on the Long Range Hunting section there, and I know @FOTIS is on there as well.
All of that being said, I really appreciate the the respectful and non-drama nature of the Nosler Forum.
I admin and moderate on other platforms, so I even more thankful knowing the foolishness you guys have to go through from time to time-Thank You!

Truth, Ernie. I simply quit reading other forums a long while ago. There is enough negativity in the world without filling your mind with it. I appreciate the positive attitude that makes a real effort to encourage all who enjoy the shooting sports. Plus, it is just pleasant to see the success at hand loading, at gaining accuracy at the range, and successful hunts when everyone can exult with those who were successful.

Yep, I remember when I first started reloading and asked questions on a few forums and got hit with a flamethrower, but here everyone was cordial and excited to help a new guy out. Also they can politely tell you when you’re heading down the wrong path and correct you without attacking. Most other places posters have lost the ability to politely disagree and move on. Although these guys are great enablers, I suspect much to the chagrin of many spouses 😂

Fotis and I have put a lot of time and effort in this forum to make it fun and informative. It's all of you guys here that make it great!
A big thank you to all of you, it's your forum.

Jim and Fotis do a great job weeding out the trouble makers early to keep things civil. I sure wish the ladies were still around as they added many different aspects to things. It's too bad many jealous people couldn't handle their success and ran them off. I thoroughly enjoyed their input.

It's been good here, once and a while someone will ruin a thread but that is quite rare. I wish there were more people posting but we do have a lot of great guys here. I do frequent Rokslide but limit things to subjects that are interesting. The 223 elk/moose/bear cultists there are quite annoying but for the most part they can be avoided.

I'm happy to visit here and am thankful for so many good people in this site. Thanks to all who make this such a good place!

plenty of "don't call God as I know everything" people on other forums and i let them know that! if they put me on the "ignore" list, that's fine! when they do I put them on the "follow" list for laughs! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. oh well, my neighbors are the enablers (sister and her pos husband), so the snowflakes and flamers don't affect me or entice me to post hate! i give them a "have a great day and a best too you" as that probably ticks them off! other don't like being wrong and will post hate about you which doesn't bother me at all! i've got other issues in life to deal with! still trying to piece back together what the fire back in March has done that consumes lots of my time not counting 3 kids in school. not per say health issues, but pain management issues that have gone on for 23 years that was somewhat manageable that has turned in the last 14 years of no fun pain. if all goes well next year i might be able to do an electronic nerve block? seems to be a hit and miss on it working for people with neck pain. this forum is more relaxing to post on w/o hate being involved! a BIG shout out to all of you that make this possible!

This is a great site, that I enjoy very much!
There are also a lot of very nice, informative, and knowledgeable people on here.
Both make for a great experience.
I haven’t been a member here for very long, but have enjoyed my time, and as has been said, it has a lot to do with the admin, but also a lot of the good people who post!

some of my post might not be helpful, but i did get a few good words in :ROFLMAO:

The 1st forum of any kind I was on (and still am) is The Armory Life. Been on there within 2 months of its starting. Just got a post deleted and it wasn't against forum rules! Also the staff/mods gave no reason why! Staff and mods can ruin forums. Way better here!

Pretty new to this forum but I too enjoy the general attitude of the members here. Lots of places you can go if you like to play with the keyboard cowboys but not having to deal with that sure makes for a better experience. I hate to say it but it is much easier to find crappy forums than good ones.

I think this is the only firearms forum I've been on where I've actually met folks from the forum in person.

I've hunted with a couple of folks from this forum, stayed with others (thank you!) and enjoyed some in person and phone conversations with others. Good people!

I'm the old fellow hanging out with Dale (Filmjunkie) and Zach after we worked together to get my elk. Those packs were heavy with fresh meat! At 6' and about 220 pounds I'm not a little dude, but dang, it was like hunting with a couple of giants in great condition...

Regards, Guy
