I once watched a rather large whitetail buck in WY circling a doe sitting near a tree. Shame I had an elk tag in my pocket at the time. I think that was the only whitetail buck or doe I saw in WY while stationed there for my 6 years, but we normally hunted out near Baggs. When I saw the pair of whitetail we were near Elk Mountain.
