Pictures, need some pictures, looking forward to seeing them and your range report.

Nah, it's just some extra bullets that were mailed separately. I know where the rifle is.

Did ya mail them 1 at a time to keep the suspense going?

Well she is home and they actually sent her back in a black Plano rifle case and there was a box of 225gr ABs inside the case as well as my Lady.
I will be taking photos this week end if everything goes accordingly and hopefully there will be some test loads for the 225gr. 8) I will be starting with 59grs of RL-15 and then trying 60gr & 61gr as per loads from Scotty.
After I have them figured out a bit then we will really try to dial her in using the COAL to get the best out of her>
Thanks Mike for all your help and I just want to say your new 7mm mag you had photos of sure looked good and the bolt was on the proper side
What stock was put on that girl?

Blessings,
Dan

Congratulations, Dan. Glad it arrived. It fired without a hitch for me, printing some respectable groups. The stock on that 7mmRM was a McMillan A5, if I recall correctly.

Good luck with her. I'm picking mine up tomorrow. I plan on working with the 225's also. Looks like next week will be range week.

Hi billbam, what are the specs on your rifle :?: I am sorry if you mentioned them already but I don't remember, I am starting to realize that I have oldtimers disease  or as my wife remains me selective memory and with that comes selective hearing

Blessings,
Dan

I have both also. Had the smith redo my old 30-06. It was my first rifle which I bought around 1982. I used it for my first elk and a few muleys. We went with a Shilen #3 barrel and a McMillan stock. I'm not sure how the colors came out but I went with 50 med tan 25 olive 25 black, if I remember right. I have a Minox which i"m going to try on it with talleys.

billbam,

Sounds like a great rifle you have coming your way. I know the scope will serve you well.

Bill, that sounds like a great set up. Should be a few Whelens in the Mtn's this year!

Looking forward to seeing how you make out with your Whelen Dan.
