How do you fix scratches on hi luster rifles like these?

Just a thought....cause if it was mine I would try an do something like build up successive layers of gloss urethane, using buffing compound between. Long painful process.

So rather than guess I might bring it down to the local body/paint shop and see if the guys there can get you started. Pretty much "scratch experts". I used to work for a company that refurbished commercial phones. Part of the process was to buff out the scratches in the phone and hand set (remember those?). We used 3M products for plastic that worked really well. Wish I could remember the names.....CL

I have done some repair on the older Browning High Power stocks. Get a clear urethane repair stick and sand and pumice pad rub the scratch until it is flat and matches finish. It can be done if you want it.
