O.C.L.D.D "Obsessive Compulsive Load Development Disorder"

I think we have it! :p

Yeah! I think so too. I know bullet can come up with a diagnoses. It takes one to know one. I believe most of us here have the same personality treat anyway that is we are all suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder:wink:

AMEN!!! And even though we will never be cured of this disorder, at least we all admit it to each other and that is our justification, even though we do not admit it to our wives    O.C.L.D.D. kind of has an honorable ring to it don't you think?

I feel a bout of O.L.C.D.D. coming on as I prepped 100-.243 100 new Rem .280 cases plus I have 100-.223 to load also. But I did get my bench cleaned up and my new press installed.

Man, that is scary neat. Congratulations. You'll be set to start the New Year! I'm afraid my organizational skills are lacking in recent days.

It gets that way when we get older, I just took a whole day off the straighten up, rearrange and throw away some stuff so I could actually not feel claustrophobic when in my loading room and area. Of course it has needed it for the last six months   Nice neat area nvbroncrider

Mike,

When does this need to be neat kick in? I enjoy a measure of chaos, apparently.

When you start to look for stuff that you need and it is buried under other stuff that you did not put away last time you were doing load work and you are right in the middle of working on a load and you need a certain item immediately and you are becoming frustrated looking for it. When it gets to this point you just got to clean it up.

When you start buying stuff cause you've misplaced something and production is stopped. That's how I got my new scale, found the hook holder last night on the floor oh well I really like that new scale and way faster. Has anyone here had to modify a new press to get a shell holder to fit?

You want to see pictures of an immaculate loading bench and area, just review some of the pictures that Desert Fox has posted over different threads that capture his work area.

NVbroncrider - I hate to admit this - but it bothers me that your die boxes aren't completely covered and aligned as we'd say in The Corps. I'd have to re-stack those die boxes.

My loading bench is normally pretty squared away, but with the ongoing (and growing) remodel project, my loading room has become my closet as well. It's a serious mess of clothes, gun stuff, hunting gear and all sorts of odds and ends. Makes me crazy just being in such a disorganized mess. Might be tomorrow's project...

Same here, my cave is just that. A place for all things hunting or shooting related.

I see your tastes are not extravagant at all and yes, I would say it is ready to go. By the way, a GB300wm is building one of those right now for his daughter to compete with. Great cartridge for competition.

Looks awesome DF! Can't wait to see what it does. I have a feeling I will be sick to my stomach looking at your targets though.. It is just unfair!

Thanks Gentlemen. Right now it's all about finding which combination will work well with this rifle. I have to find time to make it to the range. I had been busy the last couple of weeks. Juggling between work and my wife's project, I'm not sure when I can find time to play with this thing.

My addiction to reloading is 40 y/o and counting. I'm certain the pablum pukers think we all need to be in group therapy........lol
