I think I saw a couple Calves

Saw this herd across from the house today as I headed to town. I think there are a couple of calves in the bunch. They are sure getting fat and sassy on all that alfalfa.

Talk about elk haven! That much alfalfa and a ban on shooting? Yeah, they're gonna' grow fat and sassy for sure.

Yup, looks like there's a couple of little ones in that herd. Very cool to have that view out the front door.

There is a cow hunt in this area. It’s all private ground and the herd moves around quite a bit. If you have a friend with a couple hundred acres and are flexible you’ll get your cow. Bull tags for the unit take about 5 preference points.
