I've got a truckload of centerfire rifles from .22 Hornet to 50-90 Sharps. Not one of 'em has the words "Short" or "Ultra" in it's name and none of 'em ever will. The older I get, the more I'm pleased with the old guns and cartridges.
My current arsenal is a bunch of Sakos in 223Rem, 260Rem, 308Win, 338Fed. A 25-06 is the oddity that sees little use.
I have no interest in magnums no matter how the name is dressed or barrel burners. ie The sort of rifles that will last less than 2000 rounds before rebarreling. They are just too expensive to load and fire with the amount of use (a lot) they would get.
I just can't think of anything I wouldn't own! There is a bunch I shouldn't own according to my wife. Hell just load anything with a ballistic tip and it will kill pretty good!
