It was a poll on prefered brand of hunting bullets. Nosler was the #1 choice, leading the next closest competator by over a 2 to 1 margin.

The Nosler Partition design is over 60 yrs old and the Partition is still the benchmark by which all other bullets are compared to. Mr. John Nosler had it right way back in 1948!

Ain't that the truth. Kinda like how pistols are always compared to a 1911, pistol cartridges are compared to the .45 ACP, and rifle cartridges are compared to the grand old .30-06 Springfield. High standards, indeed.

I think a man couldn't do much better than a 30-06, shooting 180gr PTs, with a 1911 on his hip, and heck, a Leupold on top of his M70! Nosler PT's are pretty much the work horse of my rifles loads. I use BT's and a couple others, but for the most part, PT's are in the drivers seat for serious work. Scotty
