Killer wood #1 is mine!

I just love wood stocks when they display a rich character. Those are a couple of handsome rifles, Wincheringen.

Personally I wish my #1 was oil finished as original but some nimrod took some true oil to it.

Oh well they make 0000 steel wool for a reason!

Yea, I knew that when I saw it. No big deal to fix though. The top one is a Lipseys 6.5x55. It was just sitting at my local shop. I couldn't resist.

Here's my .264 Win. Mag. Ruger No. 1-A. Not as nice as FOTIS but the best I have ever owned. Both sides the same.

That 264 is bad azz~~~~

I want it!

Last year I was on a #1 kick. Had 12 of them!

Wait a minute!

264 Win. Mag. Ruger No. 1-A??????????

I just caught that! 22" tube on a 264? WOW

The only way Ruger ever made them was as a B, with the 26" barrel.

That is what I thought because I had one last year!

I can't believe I said No.1-A. This Ruger No.1 .264 win mag. has a 26 inch barrel with no sights making it a No.1-B I think.

YUP 1B

Dibs if you ever sell it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another very attractive stick. I had no idea Ruger was so generous in the provision of stocks with great character.

When Bill was alive the #1 stocks rocked. The #1 was in fact his baby.

In truth I had some plain ones but I had some beauties also
