I bought a box of Lapua 6 BR brass at a local Cabela's. When I got home and eventually checked through the case, there were only 99 pieces (box of 100). I was a bit irked--I am very particular about squareness, neatness, etc. Probably all the time spent watching alert weapons.

Anyway, I emailed Lapua USA that I only got 99 of 100 pieces, but I didn't really expect any response. However, Kevin Thomas emailed me back and said he'd send along an extra piece of brass, along with a few others. He wanted to know the lot number for the box of brass, which I provided. Today in the mail I received 6 pieces of Lapua 6 BR brass.

A thanks to Lapua and Kevin Thomas for being upfront with your customers, and making "right" even the tiniest of errors. I would have kept purchasing Lapua brass anyway due to its high quality. I thought I would pass along my experience.

That is a first rate response, Joel. Good for Lapua; it gives the purchasers confidence.

That is great that Laupa stepped to the plate with top shelf customer service!!!
Thanks for posting this.

Blessings,
Dan

I recently had a piece of 338 lapua in my box of 308 brass which threw my count off. Got the same treatment as the OP, sent me 6 pcs right out.

Joel, that is a cool customer response and explains why they are one of the best makers of brass. I bet the cases are really nice too. The Lapua cases that I have are first rate.

I've never been short brass but the last time I bought 2506 brass it was two bags of 50 Remington one bag had 52 and the other had 53 8)

Joel, thanks for posting. An organization should get as much credit for doing something "right" as one gets for doing something "wrong". It is great to see examples of staff stepping up to the plate and treating customers as they would like to be treated.
