The state of Minnesota wants ua to go lead free!!! Just read in American Hunter that the bill was withdrawn when the guy who wrote it "got the facts" as he put it. Some schmuck from the DNR said he was disappointed it was defeated. This was a bill suggesting that lead be banned for small game hunting! Stupidity reigns in St Paul!! If the cant get your guns they will get your reloads. Just watch!! CL

I can't remember if it was on this forum or a differant forum that I warned of this last year. I was sent a survey from the University of Min on this topic. It was very slanted. They were interested in your supplies for reloading and how this ban would affect you. No room for personal comments. A typical question : If you knew that something was harmful to wildlife how bad would you fight to ban it (not exact wording but that was the jest of the question) I filled it out as honestly as I could but, I knew what the intent of the survey was(ban lead)(let's be like California)). Sorry bout the soap box....I'm done. :)

Well, CL, it could be worse......You could be stuck in the Republic of Kalifornia......

Fortunately I only have 17 months to go before I can permanently leave KA, oh I mean CA..

They should have a sign at the DNR office in the capitol "abandon all hope and comon sense here".
