I was told to use data for either Win. Fail safe or Spear Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. The data for those two bullets don't seem to make sense. They are very different. I am looking for specific data for Nosler Partition (Spitzer Boat Tail 180gr).

I hunt moose with a BAR with Bushnell Elite 1.5 x 5 optics using 60gr of IMR 4831. I like the performance. The bullet holds its weight well when recovered from the animals. It does a real nice job. When shooting from the bench, I have a 3" group at 100 yards. I'd like to see it better.

I like the data of the other bullets using H4350.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Raz

OK

No such thing as a Nosler Partition boattail

2. What caliber are you talking about (I am assuming 30-06?)

Yes, I'm speaking of 30-06, .308 caliber. The packaging on the container does not distinguish boattail, however it is Nosler partiion 180 gr. Spitzer. It appears to be more of a boattail design than a typical Spitzer.
Hopefully that clears things up.

Try RL22 and IMR4350 powders with the 180 gr Partition in your 30-06.
Should be a dandy Moose load.
