Always a good idea to take extra rifles to shoot during the same range day session. I always take 3 or more! (My range sessions are never quick, but take a few hours. Helps keep it relaxed)
Allows rifles to cool adequately between groups, and you are not getting bored sitting around waiting, unless of course there are others there to visit with.
I may not clean my rifles between every group, but I do run a BoreSnake through the barrel a couple of times between each group.
And this also allows you to maximize your time with other firearms, for rechecking zeroes, working on load development, working on your trigger control and shooting form, or time to mentor other new shooters (wife, kids, grandchildren, friends, coworkers, etc.) that have accompanied you to the range, shooting their rifles so you can provide proper instruction on gun handling, trigger control, breathing, and shooting form.
But even more importantly, is to have fun!

I do want to make a load for my new rifle build . Just finished a tikka action with 24in with a m24 contour 1in10 twist in a krg bravo chassis. I have some 168gr sierra matchking . If I can find some 4064 ill try it but it hasn't been available for few years here in town . Probably just use varget as i do for everything else

I do this if I think something is off with a particular scope.
There is also the practice of burnishing or breaking in your the internals of your turrets, by intentionally working them before you ever fire a shot.
I learned this from someone who is a sniper and trains other snipers. This was a practice with every new scope they get.
Smooths out the grease better across the internal threads.
It also wears down any micro-burrs or machining imperfections, including the click-detent mechanisms during machining.
On a prototype scope I was sent, and ended up keeping, they made the turret tightness more than normal, because there had been times with past model, they had been inadvertently moved because they had brushed up against something like a pack.
Even though this scope was almost to tight for my liking, with breaking it in it got better.

For the OP, I would not worry about my last post!
These guys have to have everything spot on.
Now, they have moved to using the Horus reticle almost exclusively, so once they are zeroed, they don't dial at all.
The grouping of your rifle in your first post is plenty good for all of the hunting you will do.
Nothing wrong with wanting tighter groups.
Go have fun and don't worry or overthink things.

Scope is 1/4 click.. I currently shoot it the same way it will be shot out the shooting house window . Off a 2x6 , that's what the bottom of window is make from so can put a piece of foam there for gun to rest on ..
Yeah that last part would drive me nuts
If you have just as a stable field rest (Front and rear support) as your group shooting rest, you are golden!
It would irk me too, but I have hunted coyotes, fox, and hogs with a scope (Thermal) that was a 1/2" to 3/4" off to the left. Shots were not over 250 yards, but the target were small and the shooting was off of a tripod and on demand. I didn't have a problem with it, but it didn't mean I enjoyed it.

In my kind opinion, adjust for your posted group and be done. Hunt this year and get back to messing with it in 2027.
