Shooting tiny groups in the bench is not easy as some of us might think. I know we do a lot of bench shooting when developing loads for our rifle. Unlike powder and bullet manufacturers which uses pressure test barrel clamped on a shooting fixture, when developing loads for a particular cartridge, we get-by by shooting our rifle in the bench with the aid of a pedestal, bipod or shooting bags. It is therefore important to develop your own technique and shooting habit so that we can be more proficient with it. How many of us blame the results of our reloads on our guns when in actuality it is our poor shooting that is the culprit. I see it day in and day-out at our range. Here's one way to develop a good habit when shooting in the bench by video-ing yourself and watch it later to find out where you can improved your technique ie... trigger pull, cheek placement, rifle hold, follow through etc, etc. Just click on the screen
