I believe he settled in on the 350 legend already. I'll see him this weekend and see what his status is. You all had some great suggestions. I feel if he goes 350 legend, there will be no need for reduced loads. His daughter should have no problem handling that rifle, comfortably.
I hunted N. Carolina with a guy that used the 350 Legend , and factory ammo . the cartridge worked well on whitetails . I don't ever recall him complaining about it .
