Took the 7mmSTW out to Louisiana for a whitetail hunt. Killed a 3-point at 160 yds through the shoulders both of which were broken by the 160gr AB. No sign of bullet fragmentation. Both shoulders had useable meat.
Also, killed a small wild hog at 40yds with the same round. Took out a vertabrae at the base of the head as well as a large section of skull.
Excellent performance.
On to New Mexico elk!
