model 70 at 600 yds

thats ok scott she is pretty solid i guess i can have you shoot a couple on the ground first

is there a special tag for ground shooting pheasant. When I was a kid my dad always told me he bought a special "limb license" for me so I could shoot the doves out of trees.

Man, I would be in for that. Not much of a shotgunner, but I could give it a helluva try! Scotty
Don't let Scotty fool you! We shot some hand thrown clays sunday and he didn't miss the first one. I think he was going to win money off of somebody

Good shooting, its pretty amazing to see what a stock rifle is capable of at distance. I have a range at my house that has steel targets out to 2k. The core of my shooting is done out to about 1350. Its always fun to see a guy shoot a steel target at 800 plus for the first time. You guys are welcome to come out and shoot if your ever in the billings area.

Scott and I might scare you and show up sooner than you expect. I have an elk hunting buddy that lives in Billings and hunt North of Glendive every year with another buddy for deer. That many old jarheads together would be fun!!

Hey ackley I may scare you and show up in minnesota to do some muskie fishing you have a boat or shall I bring one?

I guess that ground tag is just another perk that residents get for free while it cost us non residents extra, Huh?

Man, that would be a good time I think. Never Muskie fished. Fished for Northerns a bunch and love that along with Walleye, but never caught a muskie.

HT- Us Non Residents gotta catch a break sometimes! Scotty

You are welcome to come fish any time you want. The only boat I own is a kevlar canoe :) . I have several family members that own homes on lakes or live close to good fishing, so I don't worry about owning a boat. Why drag one all the way up north when i can jump in their's for free...
Don't let all the secrets out about the pheasant hunting in Montana. It is the second best state I have hunted for them next to South Dakota. I have a 8 month old Vizsla pup that I am starting to train for that purpose.

what area of minnesota do you live in? no worries on the pheasant hunting everyone is still on the south dakota band wagon. there isnt a pheasant, hun, or a sharptail on the 12,000 acres of wheatfields, or the 1500 acres of alfalfa on the farm/ ranch i live on. the one i did see two years ago was a pen raised bird, anyway im heading to south dakota in october myself  ps scott i will save that one for you if i see him again!
