Model 70 Trigger?

Will the older triggers fit new production models? I do not like my new "adjustable" trigger.

YS try the Ernie's the Gunsmith trigger spring. It's five bucks and makes the MOA trigger what it should be. Only used one of them on my 300, but that trigger is very good now.

Scotty, thanks for the tip. I'll look into that. PS I know I've been away a long time... My BIL, sis and twin babys are moving from Ruckersville to Fredricksburg, today in fact. Wes worked for DIA (28 yr old. Gs-13; sharp guy) and is now working at Quantico. If you PM me your number I'll pass it to him when they get settled in. He would like to get into long range shooting but currently has an R-15, old 308 m 788 and some pistols. You all might just get along :)

I think I heard Timney was making a drop in replacement now for the FN rifles. Depends on if you like timney better than factory, it will still be an enclosed type trigger like remington 700. Might be more adjustable and has been around longer I guess?

The Timney's are adjustable, are not too expensive (MidwayUSA has them on sale sometimes) and should drop in directly as they are designed to do that. Just thinking out loud. Scotty's fix is cheap and simple!
