Mongolian Venison?

So I had some leftovers from backstraps I grilled, and these always linger and never get fully consumed because my family hates leftovers.

So tonight I sliced them up thin and made "mongolian beef" with them.

I now know how to make sure the leftovers from steak night don't go to waste.

They scarfed that stuff up like my labradors do at feeding time! :lol:
 
Sounds delicious, Tom. Great way to use left overs (a rarity in my house).
 
Here's my "Mongolian" sauce recipe:

For 2lbs meat strips
Broccoli/Carrots/Snap peas

Mix dry:
1/2 cup Dark Brown sugar
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp onion powder
1tsp black pepper
1/4+ tsp ginger powder

Mix wet:
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup red wine
2 tbsp Oil

Slurry:
~3tbsp cornstarch
~3tbsp water
